Freejump Leather Care Kit

Leather is a breathable material, and looking after it properly makes a big difference to how long your boots, short boots and chaps last. The Freejump Leather Care Kit has everything you need to clean, nourish and shine them.

In the kit

• Freewax leather cream, 100 ml
• Black shoe polish cream with beeswax, 50 ml
• Chamois
• Application brush
• Buffing brush

How to use it

1. Clean after every ride. Sweat and some arena surfaces are acidic and wear down leather, so wipe your boots and chaps with a sponge or cloth and clean water. Never use glycerine soap on them.
2. Brush once or twice a week with a soft brush to lift fine dust. Always clean the leather before applying any product.
3. Nourish and waterproof with Freewax. Apply a small amount with a cloth, and use your fingertip to work a little into the join between the leather and the sole to keep water out.
4. Polish. Apply a little polish cream with the chamois, then work it in with small circles of the brush, including into the seams. The black polish and beeswax help keep the colour rich while caring for the leather.
5. Buff with the buffing brush for a shine.

Wax once or twice a week depending on use, but avoid polishing too often, as overdoing it can harm the leather.
