Freejump X’AIR SAFE AIRBAG

Freejump X'Air Safe – body protector and airbag in one

The X'Air Safe combines the body protector required for eventing with Freejump airbag technology. It meets two safety standards: NF S72-800-2022 for airbag vests, and EN 13158:2018 Level 3 for eventing body protectors, so it can be used in competition.

Features

The airbag sits inside the body protector, spreading impacts more effectively: 8 times better protection than a body protector alone, and 4 times better than a body protector with an airbag worn over the top. It is also 20% lighter than a body protector and airbag combination, and uses a cartridge half the size of a standard airbag vest's.

Freejump airbag technology

An ultra-fast gas generator and patented cord deliver full inflation in 89 ms (size M), whatever the height of the horse. Assembled in Freejump's workshop in Bordeaux, France.

High-tech protective vest

• Laser-cut inserts and foams, with automated assembly for consistent quality
• Elastic side adjustments for a better fit, and a YKK zip
• Cordura-based outer fabric for abrasion, tear and UV resistance, with a breathable 3D mesh lining
• Two-foam system: a dense outer foam to spread impact and an inner rubber foam to absorb shock
