Description
The Velari Flex Loose Ring Snaffle Soft is developed for horses that benefit from a softer, more yielding mouthpiece. It encourages chewing and relaxation while supporting a steady connection. The soft material and flexible core offer a gentle feel, helping reduce tension in sensitive horses.
The outer layer is made from a soft synthetic compound, free from toxins and designed for safe, daily use. Its smooth finish protects delicate oral tissue while the inner flex core gives just enough movement to adapt with the horse’s mouth. Horses that dislike rigid or metal bits often respond with greater relaxation and salivation to this material.
This bit features a flexible, straight bar mouthpiece that gently contours to the shape of the horse’s mouth without creating the nutcracker action found in jointed bits. The flexibility allows it to absorb tension, promoting soft acceptance and encouraging the horse to stretch into the contact. Its 20 mm thickness ensures wide pressure distribution, making it especially kind to sensitive bars and tongues.
With loose rings, the mouthpiece is allowed to move freely, promoting light chewing activity and helping the horse stay flexible and attentive in the hand. This increased mobility supports precise rein aids and keeps the connection soft and responsive throughout the ride.
